Big Surへの旅行前に『Big Sur Bakery & Restaurant』の大評判をネットで読んでいたので、ベーカリーに行くのをとても楽しみにしていました。偶然にも、予約を入れておいたモーテル（ここ❤）から車で10分のところにベーカリーがあることを知り、嬉しさ更に倍増。まずはモーテルに到着してすぐ予約を入れ、早速ベーカリーのレストランで晩ご飯。あまりのおいしさに、食べ終わった直後に、次の晩の予約も入れたほど（朝ご飯も2日続けてベーカリーからテイクアウト）。レストランはとてもカジュアルで、Big Surでキャンプを楽しむ家族連れが気軽に食事ができるほど。それでもレストランの食事は、都会の有名レストランと同等レベルの素晴らしさなのです。最後は、名残惜しく『Big Sur Bakery & Restaurant』の料理本も購入（これ❤）。これで、たまらなくおいしいレモン‧ドレッシングが再現できそうです。美味しいものを沢山食べ、世界一素晴らしい景色を楽しんだBig Surでの第一日目は、こうして幕を閉じたのでした。めでたし、めでたし。

I'd read great reviews for Big Sur Bakery & Restaurant, and I was really looking forward to going there. Luckily, it was only a 10 minute drive from our hotel. We made a reservation for our first night, and made a reservation for the next night right after we finished our first meal. It was one of the best meals we've ever had. The good thing about this restaurant is that you don't have to dress up for it. It's very casual, yet the dinner they serve there is first class. We ate there twice a day (breakfast & dinner) for two days in a row, and we wanted more! I also bought their cook book (this one❤), so that I can try re-creating their amazing meyer lemon dressing at home (I had to try so hard NOT to lick my plate!). Big Sur Bakery & Restaurant is a hidden gem, a small piece of heaven on earth!
