車のトランクはこんな有様

Packed up the car...

ピクニックバスケットもこんな有様（笑）

...and filled our picnic basket with road trip necessities.

We're ready for the long drive back to Canada!

荷造りを終え、アパートを出た1日目は、100メートル先にある近所のホテルへ直行

Our first day we covered 100 meters and stayed at the hotel next to our apartment...

まだ４月下旬だというのに、もう真夏のような暖かさ☀

あんまり暑いので、ロードトリップ出発は、次の日の朝に延長

Well, it was a very warm day in Marin.

We didn't want to hit the road in the middle of the day...

冷房の効いた部屋で、居心地の良いベットに横たわる...

もう若くないのです、無茶をしてはいけませんね。

...and the alternative was a sleeping bag at our empty apartment.

一体どんな「ロードトリップ」になるのやら...

こんな調子でいつカナダに到着するのでしょうか？

This is how we travel.  Always sleeping in a comfortable bed.

みんな大好きフード‧トラック ❖ Food Truck

毎週日曜は、フード‧トラックの日

Food Truck Sunday!

場所は、マリンカウンティにある『Marin Country Mart』

お昼時間前後は、いつも長い列

Always long line ups around lunch time

どのフードトラックに行こうか迷ってしまうのが難点

優柔不断の方には不向き（笑）

Choosing a truck is not easy!

お気に入りのフード‧トラックは大人気の『The Chairman』

日本でいう肉まんの蒸しパン部分をハンバーガー風にして、具をのせて頂きます。

私達が食べるベジタリアン用は、豆腐の具です。これが最高においしい！

Our favorite is the "Crispy Miso Cured Tofu with Garlic-Tofu Mayo & Baby Choy Sum"

アメリカのフード‧トラックは素晴らしい！レストランで食べるより、ユニークでおいしい物が気軽に食べられます。フード‧トラックはまさにグルメ天国。サンフランシスコのベイエリアに来られたら、是非フード‧トラックを経験されることをお勧めします。普段は、サンフランシスコまで行かないとお目にかかれないフードトラックが、毎週日曜（午前11時〜午後3時）にマリンカウンティに大集合します。場所は、私達のアパートから歩いていける場所にある『Marin Country Mart』です（サンフランシスコからのフェリー乗り場近くでもあるので、サンフランシスコからも多くの人がやってきます）。現金を持ってくるのをお忘れなく。アメリカはチップ社会です。最低1ドルは、チップとしてチップ用の瓶に入れてあげましょう。

People LOVE the food trucks. Food trucks in San Francisco are incredible. Every Sunday, Marin Country Mart has food trucks (11am to 3pm). And, the best part is that we can walk across the street to them (no need to worry about finding parking!). It's a very popular place to go to in Marin on Sundays. There is always a long line up, but it's well worth it!
