今年もお守りが届きました。毎年かかさず父と母が、私達二人のためにわざわざ郵送してくれます。今年もこのお守りで良い1年になりそうです。今年は『羽咋神社』からのお守りです（『羽咋』は『はくい』と読みます）。『羽咋神社』は、羽咋駅から歩いて５分ほどのところにあります。

Our new omamori (good luck charms) arrived today. My parents have been sending us new ones every year. You are supposed to replace your omamori from the year before with new ones. My parents buy them during their first visit of the year to a local Shinto Shrine. Whether you believe in Shintoism (or Buddhism) or not , every Japanese carries some form of omamori with them. Ours came from a local shrine in my home town, Hakui. Empowered by our new omamori, our luck is stronger now....I'm going to buy a lottery this weekend.
