私は蛙が怖い（ここ＆ここ）。まさに「蛙恐怖症」です。「蛙恐怖症」の人が、実はとかげ好き♡...ということにはなりません。今のアパートに引っ越して最初に気づいたのが、とかげが、沢山いること。最悪です。暖かいカリフォルニアは、とかげにとって住み易い環境なのです。その一方、薄情者のコリンは、とかげが沢山いることが嬉しくて仕方がない。小道でとかげを見つける度に、捕まえて、とかげのお腹をなでようとします...毎回逃げられていますが...（そうすると、とかげは死んだふりをすると、誰かに教えてもらったらしい）。阿呆です。ある日、そんな「とかげ道」をとかげを避けながら冷や汗をかいて歩いていると、蛙の声が草むらから聞こえるではないですか！幸運なことに、まだ蛙の姿はみていませんが、万が一草むらから出てきたら、私は引っ越します。
人生、爬虫類に満ちています。そんな困難に日々、立ち向かう爬虫類恐怖症の方、私は貴方の味方です。がんばりましょう！おー！
Many of you know I have a frog phobia from past posts like this and this. So, you shouldn't be surprised when I tell you I'm also not that comfortable with lizards. When we moved into our current apartment, we soon found out (to my horror and to Colin's delight) that the path to our unit is "infested" with lizards. They are everywhere! On top of this, I sometimes hear the sound of frogs coming from the bushes nearby. Luckily I have not yet encountered any. This path may look pretty to some, but it's an extremely uncomfortable path to me. Colin, on the other hand enjoys this path. Every time a lizard appears, he tries to pick it up...he can be very annoying. If a frog ever jumps out from the bush, we are moving again!
