再びミュアウッズ国定公園に行ってきました。今回は日本の両親も同伴。もう何ヶ月も雨が降っていなかったサンフランシスコのベイエリアですが、今週は三日ほど雨が降りました。恵みの雨です。ミュアウッズ国定公園は、あっという間に苔に覆われ、緑が更に鮮やかで、息を飲む美しさ。公園では、鹿やバナナ色をしたナメクジ等もみることができました。今回、1年有効のパスを購入。サンフランシスコのベイエリアにお住まいの方は、このパスをお勧めします。たったの20ドルで、一台の車でくれば連れの人は、全員このパスで入場無料です。これなら気軽に公園に行くことができますね（入場料の詳細はこちら）。

森の中で覚えておかなければいけないのは、私達人間は、森の訪問者であること。森の中ではおしゃべりは謹んで、森の静けさを楽しみましょう。例えば我が愛する母のように、一日中休む間もなくおしゃべりする人が同伴する場合、前もってこの注意事項を伝えておくことが大切です（笑）。森の中では小さな声でね❤と注意しておいたら、ささやき声も大きい母でありました。とほほ。

We visited the Muir Woods again, and we brought my parents this time. After many months of no rain, it rained for a couple of days in the SF Bay Area. This welcome rain made the woods alive with moss and forest creatures. We saw a deer, a banana slug, and a caterpillar.  If I could, I would love to spend a whole day in the forest. It's so beautiful. If you live in the Bay Area, I recommend you to get an annual pass, which is only $20. The pass will admit  the pass holder and all accompanying passengers in a private vehicle (see fee details HERE). What a deal!

When you are in the Muir Woods, you need to remember that you are a guest of the forest. The park service asks that you keep your voice down, and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the woods. What I really mean is that if you happen to have a mother who talks loudly, non-stop, you need to tell her to take a break in the forest. Yes, I'm talking about my mom.
