先週の土曜日、ポイント‧レイズ‧ステーションにある『Pine Cone Diner』で、遅めの朝ご飯を食べました。お腹がペコペコにすいている朝、ダイナーで食べる朝ご飯は最高においしいのです。『Pine Cone Diner』は、古くて小さなダイナーです。50年代風のインテリア、どのくらい古いのかわかりませんが。食事も終わりにさしかかった頃、隣のお客さんが、たまらなくおいしいそうなミルクシェイクを注文しました。ダイナーのミルクシェイクは、おいしいだろうなあ。今度は、朝ごはんでもおかまいなしに、ミルクシェイクを注文するのだと、固く心に誓ったのでした。
Last weekend, we drove to Point Reyes Station to have a late breakfast. If you are starving like we were, find yourself a diner like the Pine Cone Diner. It's guaranteed that you'll be a happier person. I don't know how old this diner is but its decor has a cool 50's feelings to it. We saw other customers ordering amazing looking milkshakes as we were finishing our huge meals. We'll have to try that next. Why does coffee at diners always taste so much better...?
