サンフランシスコの『Renegade Craft Fair』が12月15日＆16日に開催されます。サンフランシスコのベイエリアにお住まいの方は、カレンダーをチェックしましょう！春の『Renegade Craft Fair』に行って以来、このホリデーマーケットを楽しみにしていました。参加するアーティストのリストも発表されましたよ（ここ）。いいですねえ、いいですねえ。ああ、楽しみだなあ。今年のクリスマスショッピングはここで決まり。今年は、ショッピングモールで買い物などせず、『Renegade Craft Fair』でクールでキュートな買い物をしましょう（詳細はこちら）！

昨夜から、大雨と突風にみまわれているサンフランシスコのベイエリアです。今のところ大きな被害は出ていない様子ですが、また、週末に次の嵐がやってくるとのこと。ベイエリアの皆さん、安全第一で気をつけてくださいね。

カナダから遊びに来ているコリンの両親とボデガベイ（Bodega Bay ）へ行って来ました。今回の目的は、最高においしいと噂のクラムチャウダーを食べるためです。お店の名前は、『Spud Point Crab Company』。到着したのはお昼頃で、もう既に長い列ができていました。私達がクラムチャウダーを受け取った時点で、行列の長さは3倍、すごい人気です。クラムチャウダーは、行列の長さも納得するおいしさ。肉厚のハマグリがたっぷり。よくあるクラムチャウダーは、ジャガイモばかりが沢山入っている場合が多いのですが、これは違います。ジャガイモは、ほんの少しでハマグリがわんさか。噂通りのおいしさです。行列に圧倒されず、サンフランシスコのベイエリアに来られた際は、ちょっと足をのばして、ヒッチコック監督の映画『鳥』で有名なボデガベイ（Bodega Bay ）へ。お店の反対側は港で、ベンチが沢山あります。ベンチに座って港を眺めながら食べるクラムチャウダー、この上もない幸せです。週末のみ、すぐに売り切れるという「クラブケーキ」（蟹コロッケのようなもの）も食べれるとのこと。また近いうちに、ボデガベイ（Bodega Bay ）までドライブすることになりそうです。

We drove to Bodega Bay with Colin's parents in search of the best clam chowder. The place that serves it is called "Spud Point Crab Company." When we arrived there, the line up was long. But, by the time we got our chowders, the line was even longer! It was simply the best clam chowder I have ever had. Unlike many potato loaded clam chowders I've had before, this chowder was full of clams. It was worth the wait as it was truly the best clam chowder EVER! And their crab sandwich? Oh my! The crab meat was so fresh that I wished they also made sushi with it. We are definitely going back there to try their famous crab cakes next (served on weekends only). Don't be intimidated by the line up. It moves pretty quick, and there are lots of benches to sit on in the marina while you eat.
