猫仙人に出会う (An encounter with a cat philosopher) 

金沢の近江町市場の近くで猫をみかけました。年齢不詳、見たからに老齢の猫。世の中のことは全てお見通しという仙人のような容姿で店先に座っていました。そこにいるだけで存在感のある人っていますよね。猫にもいるんです。

We saw a very old cat near the Omicho market in Kanazawa city, Japan. He was sitting in front of a store looking very content with his long life. He paid no attention to us. But we felt he could see through us without looking.
