北米では、ソフトクリームは日本ほど人気がないせいか、おいしいソフトクリームを見つけるのは至難の業。
そんな時、見つけたのがこのなんとも可愛らしいソフトクリームのトラック♡

しばらく真剣に悩んだ末、コリンが注文したのは、サンデー。おいしい！
サンフランシスコの有名なこのサンデーなんぞより遥かにおいしいのです。

Saturday was supposed to be all about art, but it ended up being all about food. After a delicious Dutch lunch at the de Young Cafe, we looked for the ice cream truck we saw earlier. If you've been to Japan, you know soft serve ice cream is the most popular type of ice cream, and we make the best ones (like this). The Twirl & Dip Soft Serve makes really good soft serve ice cream. I have to try their chocolate dipped soft serve ice cream with sea salt next time. It looked as amazing as it sounds! Eating ice cream outside in February is not something we will EVER get tired of doing. We are loving our new life in California☀
芸術を堪能するはずの土曜日でしたが、結局、食べ物中心の1日となりました（笑）。ミュージアムのカフェでオランダ風ランチを楽しんだ後、朝、ミュージアム近くで見かけたソフトクリームのトラックへ直行。ソフトクリームをこよなく愛する母親を持つ私も、ソフトクリームが大好き。日本のソフトクリームは世界一です（私が大好きなソフトクリームはこれ）。北米で、なかなかお目にかかれないおいしいソフトクリームですが、やっと見つけましたよ。女性が経営するソフトクリームのトラック、『Twirl & Dip Soft Serve』です。今度、見かけたら絶対に注文したいのが、ソフトクリームを溶けたチョコレートにディップして、粗塩をトッピングするソフトクリーム♡ 他の人達が注文しているのを見て、私の心は大きく揺れたのでした✩ それは、それは、もう芸術としかいいようのないソフトクリーム（笑）。まだ2月だというのに、外でソフトクリームが食べられる幸せ、カリフォルニアの新しい生活は快適です。
