サンフランシスコ近代美術館のお店は、私とコリンのお気に入り♡
サンフランシスコ空港にもお店があります。
コリンが買った物。一体、誰の誕生日なのでしょうか？

先週末は、私の誕生日ということで、コリンが月曜日もお休みを とってくれました。ということで、誕生日の週末−第1日目は、サンフランシスコ近代美術館（通称SFMOMA）へ。この美術館は、私とコリンがサンフランシスコへ、不安を抱え、アパートを探しに来た時に訪れた思い出深い場所です。コリンは、私にとって美術館巡りには最高の連れ。美術館は、さっさと見て美術館のショップやカフェに時間をかけるというタイプ（笑）。このサンフランシスコ近代美術館には、食事ができるカフェが一階にあり、コーヒーが飲めるカフェが屋上にあります。この屋上カフェが、週末に誕生日を迎えた私が行きたかった場所。明日のブログは、このカフェについて♡
今回、サンフランシスコ近代美術館の年間メンバーになるつもりでしたが、受付で問い合わせてみると、なんと今年の6月から増設工事が始まり、2年半の間、美術館は閉館になるとのこと！でも、閉館中もサンフランシスコのベイエリアの他の美術館を借りて、展示は続けるそうです（年間メンバーシップの購入も可能）。2016年に、まだサンフランシスコのベイエリアに住んでいたら、新しくオープンする近代美術館のメンバーシップを買うぞ！と心に誓った夫婦でした（アートより食べ物‧買い物が目的の夫婦ですが）。
I had my birthday last weekend, so Colin took Monday off to make it a long weekend for us. Day ONE of my birthday weekend started at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA). It is a memorable place for us as it was one of the first places we visited together when we came to San Francisco in 2011. Colin is a good person to visit a museum with as he doesn't take art too seriously. We usually go through museums rather quickly. As you know, my main purpose for visiting museums is not art. What is it then? It's...shopping and food (it's my birthday after all). My next blog post will be dedicated solely to the museum's cafe. Happy Birthday to ME!
We were planning to become members of SFMOMA. However, we found out that they are closing for 2 and a half years in June due to their expansion project. They'll still have their exhibitions on display at different locations (you can still buy an annual membership as well). If we are still living in the Bay Area in 2016, we'll definitely get a membership so that we can visit SFMOMA more often.

Kichuraさん、ありがとうございます♡幾つになっても、やっぱり誕生日は嬉しいものです。コリンと私は、お互いにプレゼントを買わないというルールがあるので、誕生日はお互いに好きな物を食べ、好きな物を買い、行きたい所に行くということになります。まったく、ロマンにかける夫婦です。
