カリフォルニアは健康食で有名ですが、ここは違います。加工に加工を重ねたジャンクフード好きにはたまらないランチが楽しめます（笑）。

A fun day @ the Jelly Belly Factory ❤
アメリカで人気のジェリービーンズ。子供の頃にジェリービーンズを食べてひどくがっかりしたのを覚えています。こういうのをおいしいと思うアメリカ人を不思議に思ったほどです。でも、今ではジェリービーンズがおいしい！と思う私。おいしいフレーバーが沢山開発されたからでしょうか？味覚だけは確実に北米人に近くなりつつあるようです。カリフォルニアのフェアフィールド（Fairfield）にジェリーベリー本社があります。そこで無料ツアーができると聞いて早速行ってきました（ツアーの予約必要なし）。週末に出かける場合、ジェリービーンズ工場（実際に作っている部門）はお休みなので実際に作っているシーンをみることはできませんが、工場内のツアーはできます（詳細はこちら）。ツアー自体はそれほど面白いものではありませんが、「まぬけ」な帽子を皆でかぶり、ツアーの最中にジェリービーンズの味見もできるので参加する価値は充分にあります。工場の周りにはレストランらしきもはないので、お腹がすいたら「ジェリーベリーカフェ」でランチを食べるか、お弁当を持参して外のピクニックエリアで食べることになります。カフェでは、「ジャンクフードレベル」においしいランチが頂けます（笑）。ジェリービーンズの形をしたバーガーやピザがあって、どこもかしこもジェリービーンズです。私も今度はジェリービーンズの形をしたピザを食べようと密かに考えています。工場で一番楽しいのが、ギフトショップ。もうジェリービーンズのパラダイスです！特に、チョコレートにくるまれたココナッツのジェリービーンズは最高なので、お勧めです♡
The first time I tasted Jelly beans as a child, I didn't like them at all. Now, I love them! Your taste buds change as you mature but, I think my taste buds became more juvenile. We visited the Jelly Belly Factory (the Headquarter of the Jelly Belly Candy Company) in Fairfield, California. If you go to the factory on a weekend, you don't get to see jelly bean making in action, as workers don't work on the weekend. But, you can still do a tour. No reservations are necessary. The tour is not that interesting (unless you are 10 years old), but you do get to wear a funny hat and sample jelly beans. So we had no complaints. If you don't get too offended by their highly processed food served at theJelly Belly Cafe, eat your lunch there as well. They've got jelly bean shaped burgers and pizzas (I think I'll try their jelly bean shaped pizza next time). The best part of the factory is their gift shop. It's a jelly belly bean heaven. My favourite jelly bean? The chocolate dipped coconut jelly beans! You've got to try them. They are amazing!

子供ん時にお土産のジェリービーンズを口の中にポンと入れて貰ったのをすぐその場で吐き出して以来^^食べてませんが、そんなことよりそのジェリービーンズのサーバーをそのまま家に設置したいです❤

ははは。やっぱり、Kichuraさんもジェリービーンズは、おいしくないって思いました？あれは日本人の味覚に合わないのでしょうかね。Kichuraさんが「まぬけ」な帽子をかぶってるコリンを褒めてたよと言ったら、すごく喜んでました。ふふふ。フルーツ系のジェリービーンズは、結構おいしいですよ。今度食べてみてください♡
