50歳になる前にフルマラソンができたらいいな♪と遠い未来を考えていました。それが、何を血迷ったか夫婦揃って来年のサンフランシスコ‧フルマラソンに登録することに。ははははあー！もう笑うしかありません。調子に乗るとはこのことです。数あるフルマラソンの中から、坂が多くランナーに謙遜されるサンフランシスコ‧マラソンを選ぶところが未経験者ならではの選択。といっても、４月のサンフランシスコ‧ハーフマラソンで、サンフランシスコの坂の多さに死ぬほど苦しんだ経験済み。「人は痛い目に遭わないとわからない」と言いますが、私達の場合は「バカにつける薬なし」と言ったところです。さて、フルマラソン登録完了！の知らせを聞いたKUMOとMISOの反応はこんな感じでした...。
Well...we registered for the 2013 San Francisco Full Marathon. Among all the full marathons available in the Bay Area, we chose the one many people avoid especially if you are first timers like us. It's REALLY hilly (it looks like it's all hills)! And we know that so well because we did the SF half this spring, and I almost died. This is the reaction from our feline family members when we told them what we did...
