マリメッコに引き続きまたもやフィンランドから。日本では今でも人気の根強いムーミン。子供の頃、『ムーミン』や『バーバパパ』を観て育った私の年代の方は、アメリカのミッキーマウスやスヌーピーより、ヨーロッパ生まれのキャラクターに惹かれる方が多いのでは？

サンフランシスのニジヤマーケットでムーミンのビスケットを発見。きゃあー可愛い！以前買ったお気に入りのムーミントレーにのせたら可愛い度が倍増しました。ムーミントレーは、アートなのです！あーはい、そのMISOが座っているトレーのことです...とほほ。

I grew up watching Moomin and Barbapapa. I have a stronger connection towards those European characters than their American counterparts like Micky Mouse, or Snoopy. I wonder if all Japanese children of my time feel the same way as well?
