私が生まれ育った羽咋市は、波打ち際をドライブできる『千里浜渚ドライブウェイ』で知られています。私が好きな場所は、賑やかな千里浜から少し離れたところにある『休暇村能登千里浜』の海辺です。この場所には沢山の思い出があります。つらいことがあった時、うれしいことがあった時、自分の将来について考えた時、よくこの海辺で時間を過ごしました。この海辺にたつといろんなことがみえてきます。誰にでもそんな場所があるのではないでしょうか。大切にしていきたいですね。

The beach in my home town of Hakui city, Japan, is famous for its beach drive. Both tourists and locals flock to the beach. My favourite spot is off the main beach drive and it is behind the "Kyukamura Noto-Chirihama." It is usually less crowded there. I spent lots of time on this beach. It was the place to go to when I felt confused, sad, and happy. The beach always helped me think straight. I treasure this place. It is always in my heart wherever I go.
