普段、日曜の朝は家でごろごろするのが我が家の決まり事。でも、先週の日曜日はめずらしく朝早くに、マリン·ファーマーズ·マーケットへ行ってきました。このマーケットは、カリフォルニア州全土で3番目に大きいのだそう。家の近くにそんなファーマーズ·マーケットがあったのに、今まで家でごろごろしていたのがもったいない。今、私達が住んでいるサンラファエルは、マリン郡（カウンティー）にあります。3月の冷え込む朝でも、マーケットは沢山の人で賑わっていました。マーケットは、マリン郡（カウンティー）からやってきたオーガニックの野菜や果物、チーズ、お菓子、蜂蜜、お花であふれ、おいしい匂いがあちこちにたちこめていました。このマーケットは一年を通して、毎週日曜日の午前8時から午後2時までオープンしています。買い物した後は、日曜日の朝ご飯やお昼をマーケットでいただきしょう。

We finally woke up early enough on Sunday morning to make it to the third largest farmers market in all of California! It's the Sunday San Rafael Marin Farmers Market at the Marin Civic Center. A 5 minute drive from where we live, and it took us this long to visit the best famers market we have ever been to. The market is full of organic vegetables, fruits, pastries, local cheese, honey, flowers, and other foods that you'll want to try. It was a chilly Sunday morning in San Rafael. But the market was full of energy, and vendors from all over the county gathered there. What a fantastic place to be. This market takes place every Sunday all year around. It's still March and the abundance of produce at the market is impressive. I can't imagine what this place will be like in the summer. The market opens at 8am and it goes until 2pm. This is the best place for your Sunday breakfast and lunch.
